Axsia Howmar supplies equipment, spare parts, software, technical data and services only where doing so complies with United Kingdom export control and sanctions law and other laws that apply. Every quotation and order is subject to checks on the goods, the destination, the parties involved and the end use. We cannot supply to every destination or customer.
What we check
- Whether the goods, software or technology are controlled under the UK Strategic Export Control Lists, or could be subject to end-use controls.
- The country of final destination and any countries the goods pass through.
- The buyer, consignee, end user and other parties, against UK sanctions lists and other lists that apply to the transaction.
- The stated end use.
What this means for your enquiry
- We ask for the country of the project or delivery with every enquiry. Some destinations lead to additional checks before we can quote, and some we cannot supply.
- We may ask for an end-user undertaking or other documents before quoting or shipping.
- Where an export licence is needed, supply depends on the licence being granted, and lead times run from that date. We do not guarantee that a licence will be granted.
- We may decline or withdraw from a transaction where we cannot satisfy ourselves that it is lawful. We are not liable for delay or non-supply caused by export control or sanctions requirements.
What we ask of buyers
Buyers must give accurate information about destination, end user and end use; must not re-export, transfer or divert goods or technical data contrary to applicable law; and must tell us at once if any of that information changes. Technical data we send, including drawings, may itself be controlled.
Other jurisdictions
Items of United States origin, or containing US-origin content, may also be subject to the US Export Administration Regulations. European Union rules may apply to goods shipped from or through the EU. [FOR LEGAL REVIEW: confirm which regimes apply to the company’s supply chain.]
